for Ages 8-18
SweetRoots Kitchen, based in Southern California, offers hands-on plant-based cooking workshops for youth.
In our workshops, participants will learn fundamental culinary techniques and concepts, learn about a wide variety of ingredients and dishes, and explore a range of topics including the environmental and health benefits of plant-based cooking.
That within every young person exists a confident leader, gracious team player, brilliant entrepreneur, and creative chef.
Our plant-based cooking workshops are built around the inherent strengths, capabilities, and unique developmental needs of individuals 8-18.
At SweetRoots Kitchen, our vision is to teach the next generation how to create delicious, wholesome, plant-based food that fuels and energizes without compromising flavor, taste or satisfaction. We are passionate about teaching the next generation how to make hearty, nourishing meals made from whole ingredients that can have a positive impact on their overall mind, body and health.
